Tillie attended school in Frazer, Montana, then she went on to cosmetology school in Chicago.

She also worked at Johnnie Café for numerous years as a cook and waitress. She taught herself to make star blankets which she hand sewed because she said they looked better.

He attended Harmony grade school in Larslan, Montana.

Fred graduated from Glasgow High School and attended college at North Central Bible College (NCBC) in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he obtained his ministerial degree.

Lona was laid to rest February 2, 2018, in the Highland Cemetery in Glasgow, Montana. Yvonne “Tillie” Cox-Hopkins our beautiful and loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point, Montana.
